HockeyTime.netAlla conclusione dell’appassionante match vinto dall’Asiago contro il Renon ho aspettato vicino agli spogliatoi uno degli attaccanti stranieri più gentili del campionato, Dan Tudin.
HT: Ciao Dan, una gara molto equilibrata, 3 a 2 è un risultato probabilmente che ci può stare per entrambe le formazioni, in quanto comunque gli avversari sono stati più concreti di voi nei momenti chiave, tu che ne pensi del risultato finale?
DT: Ritengo che non abbiamo disputato la nostra miglior partita stasera, entrambi i portieri hanno più volte salvato il risultato, ci sono state moltissime conclusioni da entrambi i fronti, ma credo comunque che possiamo offrire molto di più al nostro pubblico. Non siamo stati in grado di segnare quando avevamo la possibilità di farlo, durante gli special teams ad esempio!
HT: A questo punto della stagione la tua squadra è una delle più in forma, in testa alla classifica, ma allo stesso tempo altre formazioni hanno un periodo di forma non all’altezza del vostro… qual è il segreto per raggiungere tali obiettivi?
HT: Durante quest’estate hai ricevuto molte offerte da altre società? Perché hai preferito rimanere a Collalbo invece di optare per una stagione in un’altra nazione?
DT: L’anno scorso è stata un’esperienza davvero bellissima qui a Collalbo, la gente qui è molto gentile, molto accogliente, la dirigenza del Renon è molto preparata, molto onesta, sanno trattare i giocatori nel modo più corretto, quindi non c’era ragione per cui io accettassi un’altra offerta, quindi sono molto contento della mia decisione.
HT: Per noi italiani il campionato Canadese/Americano è un po’ sconosciuto, tu che ci hai giocato alcuni anni, mi sapresti dire quali sono le principali differenze fra quel campionato e questo qui in Italia?
DT: La prima differenza riguarda il ghiaccio stesso, è più grande il campo in Nord America, penso che il modo di pattinare sia migliore, c’è più velocità, poi in Nord America è più fisico il gioco, qui non te lo permettono molto invece. Qui da noi sono molto importanti gli special teams, i power play, i penalty killing, in America non molto, quindi ci sono alcune grandi differenze.
HT: Quali sono i tuoi obiettivi per questa stagione? E più in generale per la tua squadra?
DT: Penso che abbiamo un gran bel gruppo di giocatori, se continuiamo a giocare assieme e a questo livello possiamo andare molto lontano, dobbiamo però imparare dai nostri errori per non ripeterli più poi!
HT: Tu sei arrivato qua un mese dopo i tuoi compagni, qual è il tuo stato di forma attuale?
DT: Buona, ovviamente non ho lo stesso tipo d’allenamento dei miei compagni, loro sono qui da settembre, io da poco, sto lavorando duro per raggiungere la loro condizione e cerco di dare il meglio di me in campo quando gioco. Voglio segnare il più possibile per la squadra per aiutarli a raggiungere importanti traguardi e risultati!

At the end of the amazing match Renon Vs Asiago We waited for one of the kindest player of the championship, Dan Tudin.
HT: Hi Dan, a very balanced game, 3 to 2 is probably a fair result for both the teams, because Asiago has been able to be more concrete than you during the key moments, what’s your opinion about the game?
DT: I don’t think we play our best game tonight, both the goalies saved many times the result, there have been a lot of shoots on net, but anyway I think we have much more to offer to our supporters. We didn’t score when we had the chance to do that, during the special teams for example!
HT: At this point of the season your team is one of the best, you are in the first position in the championship, but at the same time the other teams are not in a good condition as you…which are the secret’s to get these aims?
DT: I believe both of us s giving the best of himself, we are working very hard, we have very strong italian players, our goalie is playing a fantastic season and I think he’s the best until this moment, than the rest of the team is very competitive.
HT: Did you receive a lot of offers during the summer? Why did you decide to remain in Collalbo instead of get the chance to play in another country?
DT: I really enjoyed my experience last year, people are very kind, they’re very ACCOGLIENTI, the management of this team is very stand up and very honest, they treat the players fairly, so there were no reasons to accept another offer in another team, I’m very happy of my decision!
HT: For Italian people Canadian/America championship is a little bit unknown, you played a couple of years, are you able to tell me which are the main differences between that championship and our Italian championship?
DT: First difference is about the ice, in North America is much bigger than in Italy, I think the way of skating is better, there’s much speed, than in North America is more physical, in Italy they don’t let you to play in that way. Here special team, power play, penalty killing are very important, in America is not the same thing, so there are some important differences.
HT: What are your aims for this season? And generally for your team?
DT: I think we have a very good group, if we continue to play at this level we can go very far, but we have to learn from out mistakes to not repeat them anymore!
HT: You arrived here one month after your mates, what’s your condition at the moment?
DT: Good, obviously I don’t have the same type of training of my mates they arrived here at the beginning of September, I arrived here one month ago, I’m working hard to get their condition and I always do my best on the ice when I play. I want to score as more as possible to help my team to get important aims and important result!
