HockeyTime.netDopo due stagioni in crescita, il team di Joe Ferraccioli conta di poter fare ancora meglio. Lasciati liberi i goalie Shawn Degagne e Jamie Vandespyker, passato ai Wichita Thunder, ci si è affidati a Mike Mantua, giovane portiere da Western Michigan University, con qualche apparizione a Kalamazoo in UHL, e a Steve Briere, negli ultimi due anni ai Fife Flyers. In difesa, insieme al confermatissimo Mark De Santis (12 goal e 42 assist), sono rimasti Tyler Butler, Dan Curry, Ryan Shannon, Eric Andersen e Bill Cass, cui si sono aggiunti Trevor Socholotuk, a Miami e Cape Fear nell’ultima stagione, e Ken Fels, da Port Huron (UHL), in sostituzione di Jeff Marshall e Brent Currie. L’attacco ruoterà ancora attorno a Derek Hahn (30+40), CHL Rookie of the Year nel 2004, Henry Kuster (20+32) e Dave Rattray. Perso Scott Wray (26+29), si fa molto afffidamento su Brent Hughes (23+21), ala destra, classe 1982, arrivato dagli Austin Ice Bats, e su Adam Dewan, ottimo realizzatore e giocatore molto fisico. Mike Corneau, Dan Donnette, Ben Gustavson e Richard Naumann sono gli ultimi attaccanti scelti da Ferraccioli per completare il roster.
